**Delhi Candidate Assigned Exam Center in Bihar; Many Such Cases Reported**
The NTA released the city slips for CUET UG 2026 on April 29. Since then, a controversy has arisen regarding the CUET UG 2026 examination centers. Essentially, for many candidates, the examination cities allotted for the CUET UG exam were different from the four cities they had selected as their preferences. For instance, a candidate from Delhi has been allotted an examination center in Bihar, a distance of 1,155 kilometers. Several other similar cases have also come to light. **Emailed 5 Times, Yet Center Remains Unchanged**
Even after the release of the admit cards, the examination centers for many candidates have not been changed. In this regard, a user named Ujjwal Dua posted on 'X' (formerly Twitter). He wrote, "I have been allotted a city located 300 km away from my preferred choice." I sent emails five times regarding this issue and lodged complaints daily via phone calls. The NTA merely offered false hopes, yet nothing changed.
**Centers Changed, But Problems Escalated**
Meanwhile, while some candidates acknowledge the changes made to the examination centers, they describe the allocation of these new centers as a fresh source of trouble. In this regard, a user named Som Gupta posted that although the distance to the examination center has been reduced from 200 km to 170 km, the new center is located in an area where finding buses or trains is extremely difficult.
