CUET UG 2025: NTA launches new website for CUET UG, registration process will start soon
NTA has launched a new website for CUET UG 2025, where candidates will be able to get information and registration related to the exam. This time the exam will be conducted in computer based mode and will be in a total of 23 subjects.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has launched a new official website for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG 2025). Now candidates will be able to easily get all the important information and application forms related to CUET UG 2025. The link of this new website is cuet.nta.nic.in. NTA said that the registration date will be announced soon, so that candidates can register themselves in time.
This year CUET UG will be organized for admission in central, state, private and deemed universities. The exam will be held only once and it will be in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode, as told by Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan last year. Last year, i.e. in 2024, the exam was conducted in pen and paper mode from May 15 to 18, while from May 21 to 24 it was taken in online mode. This time, candidates will be able to take the exam for a maximum of 5 subjects at a time and the duration of the exam for each subject will be 1 hour.
CUET UG 2025: Changes in the exam
There will be some important changes this time in CUET UG 2025. This year there will be a total of 23 subjects, which will be conducted in 13 languages. Some old subjects have been removed for selection to universities, such as 'Entrepreneurship', 'Teaching Aptitude', 'Fashion Studies', 'Tourism', 'Legal Studies', and 'Engineering Graphics'. Selection for these removed subjects will be based on the General Aptitude Test.
CUET UG 2025: Exam Subjects
CUET UG 2025 will have exams in various subjects, including subjects like Accountancy, Business Studies, Agriculture, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, Dance, Music, Painting, Geography, History, Home Science, Political Science, Psychology, Sanskrit, Environmental Science, Physical Education and Computer Science. This time the candidates will have to face the exam with many new subjects.
CUET UG 2025: List of Universities
This time a total of 46 universities are scheduled to participate in CUET UG 2025, including major universities like Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), Delhi University (DU), Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI). The result of CUET UG 2025 will be the basis for admission in these universities. The registration process will be started soon for the candidates, and the exam date will also be announced by NTA.
