CUET PG 2026: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released important information regarding CUET PG 2026. The agency has clarified that candidates appearing for the Common University Entrance Test for Postgraduate (CUET PG 2026) will be able to choose four examination cities. This will provide students with more flexibility in selecting their examination centers compared to previous years.

According to the NTA, the application correction window for CUET PG 2026 will be open from January 18 to 20, 2026. During this period, candidates will be able to modify their chosen examination city options.

Candidates can select examination cities within their permanent or current state of residence, although this will depend on the availability of examination centers. The last date to apply for CUET PG 2026 is January 14, 2026. Interested candidates can apply on the official website exams.nta.nic.in/cuet-pg/.

CUET PG 2026: Number of Examination Cities Reduced
This year, the NTA has reduced the number of examination cities for CUET PG 2026 to 292. Of these, 276 examination cities will be in India, and 16 will be abroad. Last year, the CUET PG exam was conducted in 312 cities.

The CUET PG exam will be conducted for 157 subjects. These include common papers, languages, science, humanities, MTech, higher sciences, and subjects related to Acharya programs. Application fee for General category candidates: ₹700
For OBC-NCL, SC, and ST category candidates: ₹600
The fee will be doubled for applying to two subjects.
Fee for one subject for candidates appearing for the exam outside India: ₹3,500

The CUET PG 2026 is conducted by the NTA for candidates seeking admission to Central Universities or other participating institutions. These include State Universities, Deemed Universities, and Private Universities.
