CTET September 2026 Notification Released: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the official notification for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) September 2026. This will be the 22nd edition of the examination, which will open the doors to teaching careers for lakhs of candidates across the country. According to the notice issued by CBSE, the CTET September 2026 examination will be conducted on September 6, 2026 (Sunday). However, the Board has also clarified that if the number of candidates is exceptionally high, the examination may also be held on September 5, 2026 (Saturday).

**Major Change Regarding Exam Centers**
This time, CBSE has introduced a significant change regarding the Exam City. Candidates will not have the option to select their preferred city on the online application portal. The examination city will be allotted by the Board on a 'random basis,' and no requests for any changes in this regard will be entertained.
