CTET February 2026: CBSE CTET application window re-opens, opportunity to complete the form again until tomorrow..

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has reopened the application window for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET FEB 2026). Candidates who had registered by the stipulated application deadline of December 18th but were unable to complete their forms for any reason can now complete their online forms by tomorrow, December 30, 2025.

Over 1.61 Lakh Applications Incomplete
According to the details provided in the notification issued by CBSE, a total of 25,30,581 candidates had applied for the CTET 2026 examination. In the final days, 3,53,218 applications were received on December 17th and 4,14,981 on December 18th. However, a total of 1,61,127 candidates registered for the exam but could not complete their forms. These candidates are now being given another opportunity to complete their forms by December 30th.

Steps to Complete the Form
To complete the CTET Application Form 2026, first visit the official website ctet.nic.in.
On the homepage, under LATEST NEWS, click on "Click to proceed: One-time facility for completing application (27/12/2025 to 30/12/2025)".
Then enter your login details.
Now fill in the required details to complete the form.
After that, submit the form by paying the prescribed fee.
Take a printout and keep it safe for your records.

Application Fee
Along with filling out the CTET 2026 application form, candidates will have to pay ₹1000 for applying for one paper and ₹1200 for applying for both papers. Candidates belonging to SC, ST, and PwD categories will have to pay ₹500 for one paper and ₹600 for both papers. The fee can be paid online. The exam will be held on February 8th.
The CTET exam (Papers 1 and 2) will be conducted by CBSE at designated examination centers across the country on February 8, 2026. The exam will be held in two shifts. Admit cards will be made available for download a few days before the exam date.
