Who can apply?

CTET is conducted for Paper 1 and Paper 2, with CTET Paper 1 for teaching up to grade 5 and Paper 2 for teaching grades 6 to 8. Candidates with a four-year B.Ed. after 12th grade or a D.El.Ed. after 12th grade can apply for Paper 1. Candidates who have completed or are in the final year of B.Ed. after graduation can apply for Paper II. Graduation requires having at least 50% marks.

What is the application fee?
Applications for the CTET February 2026 can be made until December 18. General and OBC category candidates will have to pay ₹1,000 for any one paper. If a candidate applies for both papers, they will have to pay ₹1,200. Disabled, SC, and ST candidates will have to pay a fee of ₹500 for one paper and ₹600 for both papers.
