The exam city intimation slips have been released for candidates who applied for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2026. Applicants can download them immediately from the official website of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), ctet.nic.in. The exam city slip allows candidates to obtain details about their examination city and make their travel arrangements accordingly. The examination will be conducted on February 8th.

Admit Cards will be released on this date.
The CBSE will make the CTET admit cards available for download 4 days before the exam date. Candidates should note that the city slip cannot be used as an admit card; it is only for providing information about the examination city.

To download the CBSE CTET city slip, first visit the official website ctet.nic.in.
On the website's homepage, click on the "View Date & City for CTET Feb-2026" link under LATEST NEWS.
Now, you will need to enter your application number, date of birth, and the given security pin, and then click on the submit button.
After this, your admit card/city slip will open on the screen, which you can download and print.

Exam Pattern
The CBSE will ask 150 multiple-choice questions in both Paper 1 and Paper 2. The total marks for the paper are also 150, meaning 1 mark is allotted for each correct answer. Two and a half hours, i.e., 150 minutes, will be given to solve the question paper.

The examination will be conducted in two shifts. Paper 2 will be conducted in the morning shift from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM, and Paper 1 will be conducted in the evening shift from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM.
