CTET Exam City 2026: CBSE CTET exam city intimation slips will be released soon; the exam will be held on February 8th..
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is scheduled to conduct the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) on February 8th. Candidates who have applied for the exam are waiting for the release of the city intimation slip so that they can find out their exam city and make travel arrangements in advance. According to the previous pattern, CBSE usually releases the city slip 10 days before the exam date. Therefore, it is expected that the city slip will be released in the last week of January.
Admit Cards will be issued separately.
For the information of all applicants, the exam city slip can only be used to obtain details about the exam city. It cannot be used as an admit card. CBSE will make the admit cards for the exam available for download 4 days before the exam date, which candidates will have to download separately.
How to download the Exam City Slip
As soon as the CBSE CTET admit card/city slip is released, applicants will first have to visit the official website ctet.nic.in.
On the website's homepage, you will have to click on the Admit Card/City Intimation Slip link in the LATEST NEWS section.
Now you will have to enter your application number, date of birth, and the given security pin, and click on the submit button.
After this, your admit card/city slip will open on the screen, which you can download and print.
Exam Pattern
CBSE will ask 150 multiple-choice questions in Paper 1 and Paper 2. The total marks for the paper are also 150, meaning 1 mark is allotted for each correct answer. Candidates will be given two and a half hours, i.e., 150 minutes, to solve the question paper.
The exam will be conducted in two shifts. Paper 2 will be conducted in the morning shift from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM, and Paper 1 will be conducted in the evening shift from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM.
