After a long wait, finally the National Testing Agency (NTA) has finally released the result of CSIR-UGC NET June 2025. All the candidates who appeared in this exam can now check their scorecard by visiting the official website csirnet.nta.ac.in. To see the result, candidates will only have to enter their application number and date of birth.

Let us tell you that NTA released the final answer key of CSIR UGC NET June exam yesterday, i.e. on 19 August 2025. Since then, the students have been eagerly waiting for the result. Now the candidates have the information about the correct option along with their answer sheet. In the final answer key PDF given on the official website, candidates can see information like question ID, option ID, subject ID, exam date, and paper code.

When was the exam held?

This time CSIR NET June exam was conducted on 28 July 2025. A total of 1,95,241 candidates got a chance to appear in this exam, out of which 1,47,732 candidates appeared for the exam. The exam was conducted in two shifts. The first shift ran from 9 am to 12 noon. The second shift was completed from 3 pm to 6 pm. This exam was conducted in 218 cities across the country, so that more and more candidates could appear in it.

How many marks are required to pass?

The cutoff percentage to pass CSIR NET is already fixed. A minimum of 33% marks are required for General, EWS and OBC candidates. On the other hand, SC, ST and PWD candidates will have to score at least 25% marks. Candidates who have secured these minimum marks will be considered eligible for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Assistant Professor post.

What will the successful candidates get?

Candidates who pass this exam will be issued Eligibility Certificate and JRF Award Letter by the National Testing Agency. With the help of these documents, candidates can make their career in the field of research and teaching in higher education institutions and universities.
