CSIR UGC NET Result 2024 Date: The National Testing Agency (NTA) may soon release the result of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research – University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (CSIR UGC NET) 2024. Also, it is expected that the result is expected to be released by October 15. CSIR has posted on X and informed us about the possible date of release of the result. These results can be available by 15 October 2024.

After the release of the result, students can check the result of CSIR UGC NET 2024 by visiting the official website csirnet.nta.ac.in. Also, candidates will need their application number and date of birth to check the score. Note that no hard copy of the scorecard or any copy will be sent through email. Exam and Candidate Details
This year 2,25,335 candidates had registered for the CSIR UGC NET exam, out of which 1,63,529 candidates appeared in the exam. The exam was conducted on 25, 26, and 27 July 2024 in 187 cities.

CSIR UGC NET Answer Key and Correction
After the exam, NTA released the provisional answer key on 8 August 2024, after which the final answer key with necessary corrections was released on 11 September 2024.

Reason for delay in exam
Earlier this exam was to be held from 25 to 27 June 2024, but on 21 June 2024, NTA announced the postponement of the exam due to some unavoidable reasons and “logistic issues”.

The Joint CSIR-UGC NET is an important tool for evaluating eligibility for various academic and research opportunities for Indian citizens. Through this exam, candidates can qualify for a Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and the post of Assistant Professor, as well as admission to various PhD programs.
