The results for the CSIR UGC NET June 2026 exam have been declared. Candidates can immediately check their results by visiting the official website of the National Testing Agency (NTA) at csirnet.nta.ac.in. To download the scorecard, candidates will need to enter their login details. Please note that results are available online only; scorecards will not be sent to anyone individually.

A total of 1,87,739 candidates registered for the June 2026 session exam, comprising 76,463 male candidates, 111,074 female candidates, and 2 candidates belonging to the third gender. Out of the total registered candidates, 1,50,057 appeared for the exam; this included 90,380 male candidates, 59,675 female candidates, and 2 third-gender candidates.

**Steps to check the result**
Step 1: To download the CSIR NET scorecard 2026, first visit the official website csirnet.nta.ac.in.
Step 2: On the website, under the 'Candidate Activity' section within the 'Latest News' area, click on the active link labeled "Release of Scores for Joint CSIR UGC NET June 2026."
Step 3: Enter your application number, date of birth, and the provided security pin, then click submit.
Step 4: The scorecard will then appear on the screen, from where you can download it.

**Number of candidates appearing for the exam by subject**
The UGC NET exam was conducted in two shifts. The examination was held for a total of 5 subjects. Subject-wise, 67,650 candidates appeared for the Life Sciences exam, 24,964 for Mathematical Sciences, 21,810 for Physical Sciences, 30,885 for Chemical Sciences, and 4,748 for the Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean, and Planetary Sciences exam.

**Final Answer Key Released Along with Results**
Along with the declaration of results, the NTA has also released the final answer key. The provisional answer key was released on August 16, and objections were invited until August 18. Please note that the final answer key cannot be challenged.
