**Age Limit:** The age limit for Constable (Driver) positions is 21 to 27 years. For other Constable positions—including Motor Mechanic, Cobbler, Carpenter, Tailor, Brass Band, Pipe Band, Gardener, Bugler, Painter, Cook, Barber-cum-Hairdresser, Washerman (Male and Female), Water Carrier, Sweeper, Mason, Plumber, and Electrician—the age limit is 18 to 23 years. However, candidates belonging to reserved categories will be granted age relaxation in accordance with government regulations.
**What is the Selection Process?**
The selection process for CRPF Constable recruitment will commence with a Computer-Based Test (CBT). Candidates who qualify in this test will be required to appear for the Physical Standard Test (PST) and the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). This will be followed by a Trade Test, Document Verification, and finally, a Medical Examination. The physical standards will be assessed in accordance with the prescribed norms. The official notice states: "Based on the candidates' performance in the Computer-Based Examination, the final results will be declared by the CRPF, provided they fulfill the requirements of the PET, PST, Trade/Skill Test, Document Verification, Medical Test, and other conditions stipulated in the recruitment notification."
