Coaching Fees: Children of ex-servicemen will get more than 50% discount on coaching fees, Uttarakhand government has given instructions..

Coaching Fees: The Uttarakhand government has prepared to provide significant relief to the children of ex-servicemen. Children of ex-servicemen wishing to pursue coaching for the NDA and CDS exams will now receive a fee waiver of 50% or more. Military Welfare Minister Ganesh Joshi has directed the Managing Director of UPNL to take necessary steps to implement this scheme.
Welfare Minister Ganesh Joshi stated that some students aspire to serve the country by joining the army, but are unable to afford it due to the high fees charged by coaching centers. The government has taken this decision to alleviate its difficulties and eliminate its problems.
Coaching Fee Relief Decision
It was decided in the meeting that UPNL, or Uttarakhand Ex-Servicemen Welfare Corporation Limited, will bear half (50%) of the NDA and CDS coaching fees. Additionally, the state government will negotiate with coaching centers to obtain a 25% fee waiver. Students will have to bear the remaining 25%.
Senior military officers attended the meeting.
The meeting was attended by several senior officers, including former Army Commander Lieutenant General A.K. Singh, Major General O.P. Sabharwal, Major General Sammi Sabharwal, Major General A.S. Rawat, Major General P.S. Rana, Major General D. Agnihotri, and UPNL Managing Director Brigadier J.N.S. Bisht.
Request to Inspect the Military Memorial
