The Consortium of National Law Universities (Consortium of NLUs) has commenced the online application process for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT 2027) today, August 3, 2026. Students wishing to enroll in undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) law courses offered by law colleges across the country can complete the online application process to participate. **Eligibility and Criteria**
To participate in this exam, students must have passed Class 12 (Intermediate) in any stream with a minimum of 45% marks. Candidates belonging to reserved categories are granted a 5% relaxation in the required passing percentage.
For admission to the PG program, candidates must hold an LLB degree with 55% marks; for reserved category candidates, the requirement is 50% marks in LLB. There is no age limit for applying to CLAT 2027.
**Application Fee**
Candidates belonging to the General and OBC categories are required to pay an application fee of ₹4,000 to participate in the CLAT 2027 exam. The fee for SC/ST category candidates is set at ₹3,500. The fee can be paid via online modes.
