CLAT 2027 Registration: The Consortium of National Law Universities has commenced the online application process for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT). Interested and eligible candidates can apply by visiting the official website. The deadline for applications is October 31, 2026. Admission to over 60 colleges, including the country's 24 National Law Universities, will be granted based on CLAT 2027 scores.

Who can apply for CLAT 2027?

To apply for the undergraduate law program, candidates must have passed Class 12 from a recognized board. A minimum of 45% marks is required for candidates in the General, OBC, and EWS categories, while a minimum of 40% marks is required for SC, ST, and PwD candidates. For the postgraduate program, candidates must hold an LLB degree. A minimum of 50% marks is required for General, OBC, and NRI category candidates, and 45% marks for SC, ST, and PwD candidates. Final-year students are also eligible to apply for CLAT 2027.

Application Fee and Required Documents

Candidates belonging to the General, OBC, PwD, NRI, and OCI categories are required to pay an application fee of ₹4,000 for CLAT 2027. For candidates in the SC, ST, and BPL categories, the application fee is set at ₹3,500. Additionally, candidates must keep certain documents ready before filling out the online application. These include a passport-sized photograph, a scanned signature, and a caste certificate. All documents must be uploaded in the prescribed format during the application process.
