The Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE), Raipur, has announced the schedule for online form filling for the high school and higher secondary examinations for the 2025-26 academic session. According to official information, students will be able to fill out the examination forms from October 1 to October 31, 2025, with the normal fee.
If a student is unable to fill out the form within the stipulated time, they can submit the form with a late fee from November 1 to November 16, and with a special late fee from November 17 to November 25. The board has asked all school heads to ensure that students fill out the forms on time to avoid any problems during the examination.
Achievements of the 2025 Toppers
This year, Akhil Sen of Government Higher Secondary School, Koda Village, Kanker, topped the Class 12 examination with 98.20 percent marks. Meanwhile, Shruti Mangtani of Vijay English School, Manendragarh, came in second with 97.40 percent marks, and Vaishali Sahu of Bemetara came in third with 97.20 percent marks.
In the Class 10th examination, Ishika Bala and Naman Kumar Khuntia were joint toppers. Both scored 99.17 percent marks. Livyansh Dewangan secured second place with 99 percent marks. A total of 19 students were included in the merit list.
Previous Years' Results and Trends
The CGBSE declared the Class 10 and 12 results for 2024 on May 9. The overall pass percentage in Class 10 was 75.64 percent, slightly higher than the 75.05 percent in 2023. The pass percentage in Class 12 was 87.04 percent, which was better than the previous year's 79.96 percent.
Students and parents are hoping for similarly good results in 2025. The Board Secretary stated that the timely submission of exam forms is the most important step in ensuring student participation.
