CBSE has cleared up the confusion among students and parents regarding the three-language policy being implemented under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. The Board has clarified that students currently studying in classes 7, 8, and 9 will not be required to take a third-language paper in the Class 10 board examination under the new rules. In other words, the studies of students in these batches will continue according to the existing system.

According to the guidelines issued by the Board, the new language policy will not apply to current Class 10 students either. Consequently, students appearing for the board exams this year do not need to worry about any changes or additional subjects.
