CBSE Hub and Spoke School Model: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has launched the Hub and Spoke School Model to promote collaboration and better resource sharing among schools. To effectively implement this model and provide detailed information to schools, CBSE is organizing an orientation program.

According to the official notice issued by CBSE, this orientation program will be held on December 26, 2025. The program is scheduled from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The venue will be Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Vidyashram, Opp. K.M. Munshi Marg, Jaipur (Rajasthan). Participants are required to report by 9:30 AM for pre-program formalities.

What is the Hub and Spoke School Model?
The CBSE Hub and Spoke model is a strategic educational initiative under which some capable and resource-rich schools are developed as hub schools. These hub schools provide academic support, guidance, and resource sharing to other surrounding spoke schools.

The main objective of this model is to balance the quality of education across all affiliated schools, promote the holistic development of students, and create a strong system of collaboration among schools.

Key Objectives of the Orientation Program
According to CBSE, this orientation program will:

Develop a clear understanding of the framework and guidelines of the Hub and Spoke School Model.
Promote collaborative learning and resource sharing between hub and spoke schools.
Facilitate better coordination and dissemination of best academic practices among institutions.
Build capacity for the effective implementation of the model.
Strengthen networking among school principals and coordinators.
Who can participate in the program?
According to the notice, CBSE has directed all hub and spoke schools to nominate at least two representatives for this program. These may include the Principal, Vice-Principal, Counselor, or Wellness Teacher.

In addition, other CBSE schools are also encouraged to participate in this orientation. However, participation will be on a first-come, first-served basis, and selected participants will receive confirmation via email.
