New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued important instructions for all affiliated schools, taking serious note of the problem of increasing obesity among students. The objective of this initiative is to give priority to the health of the students as much as education, so that a healthy and active lifestyle can be promoted.

According to the new instructions of CBSE, now 'oil boards' will be installed in all schools. The main goal of these boards is to increase awareness among students about the amount of oil in food. Schools can design these boards according to their convenience and creativity, so that children can easily understand why healthy eating is important.

Government also advises - eat healthy food

Earlier, a statement was issued by the government regarding eating samosas, jalebis and laddoos. The central government said that they did not issue any advisory regarding this, but only advised to eat healthy food and avoid sugar and oil. On Monday itself, the news came that the government has declared many Indian snacks including jalebi and samosa as unhealthy. At the same time, today the Union Health Ministry said that no such advisory has been issued. Targeting only Indian dishes is wrong. In the letter issued by the Health Secretary, it was said that the government only wants people to eat healthy food, because obesity is becoming a big problem. Especially in cities, people are becoming more obese.
