CBSE Re-evaluation: CBSE Introduces Four New Payment Gateways for Fee Submission; 40,000 Applications Received So Far..
CBSE 12th Re-evaluation: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) verification and re-evaluation portal is functioning smoothly and remains fully secure, despite heavy student traffic and multiple attempted cyberattacks. CBSE shared this official update on the social media platform 'X'. Acting on student feedback, the Board has implemented several significant improvements to the portal, including extending the session time limit.
According to the latest update issued by CBSE, the portal's capacity has been significantly enhanced, allowing approximately 14,000 users to access the website simultaneously. Amidst the continuously rising volume of applications on the portal, the number of successful submissions has surged rapidly. As of 9:30 AM today, nearly 40,000 students have completed their application processes without encountering any difficulties, availing themselves of this facility.
**4 New Payment Gateways Made Available**
CBSE has clarified that, for the convenience of students, payment gateways for the State Bank of India (SBI), Canara Bank, Bank of Baroda (BoB), and Indian Bank have been made available on the verification and re-evaluation portal. The Board further clarified that it is not mandatory for students to hold an account with these specific banks in order to complete their payments. Through these gateways, students can deposit their fees using online payment options from any bank—including UPI, Net Banking, Credit Cards, or Debit Cards.
**Application Window Open Until June 6; Board Advises Caution**
In its statement, CBSE noted, "Our teams are continuously monitoring the system to ensure a secure, reliable, and student-friendly platform."
Additionally, the Board has advised students to carefully read the official guidelines before applying and to ensure the accuracy of all information entered on the portal. Students may apply for this process until June 6. CBSE Team Becomes Active on Social Media
Although some students on the 'X' platform are still sharing issues related to the portal, the CBSE team is now actively responding to every complaint. The Board has engaged directly with students regarding issues such as login failures, 'Login Request Expired' messages, or verification errors.
Responding to students facing technical difficulties, CBSE advised them to send a brief description of their problem—along with the error message displayed on the screen, their Roll Number, Application ID, and Admit Card ID—to the Board via Direct Message (DM) so that the relevant department can resolve the issue immediately.
The Board has also requested students to ensure that they enter their login credentials, [Aadhaar Redacted] details, passwords, and Admit Card IDs with complete accuracy, exactly as per the provided details.
