CBSE Re-evaluation 2026: Following the release of the CBSE Board's Class 10 and 12 examination results, a large number of students are applying for the verification and re-evaluation of their marks. Despite the increasing volume of students and heavy traffic on the portal, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) verification and re-evaluation portal is now functioning smoothly. The Board has confirmed that, notwithstanding attempts at cyberattacks, the portal remains completely secure, and continuous technical monitoring is being conducted to ensure that students face no difficulties whatsoever.

**40,000 Students Have Applied**
According to the latest information released by the CBSE, approximately 40,000 students had successfully applied for the verification and re-evaluation process by 9:30 AM today. In view of the continuously rising demand, the Board has also enhanced the portal's capacity, allowing approximately 14,000 users to access the website simultaneously. The Board states that, despite the influx of applications from a large number of students, the system is operating normally, and the application process for the majority of students is being completed without any issues.

**Several Improvements Implemented Based on Student Feedback**
The CBSE has reported that several significant changes have been made to the portal based on continuous suggestions and feedback received from students. The most prominent of these changes is the extension of the session time limit. Previously, many students were compelled to log in again because their session time limits were expiring; however, this issue has now been largely resolved. The Board affirms that its technical team is continuously monitoring the portal's performance to prevent any inconvenience to students, and necessary improvements are being implemented as required.

**Four New Bank Gateways Added for Fee Payment**

To further simplify the application process, the CBSE has also introduced a major change to its payment system. Payment gateways for the State Bank of India (SBI), Canara Bank, Bank of Baroda (BoB), and Indian Bank have now been made available to students. The Board has clarified that it is not mandatory for students to hold an account with these specific banks to utilize these payment gateways. Students can pay their fees using any bank account via UPI, Net Banking, Debit Cards, or Credit Cards. This is expected to help minimize payment-related issues.

**Applications Accepted Until June 6**

Providing relief to students, the CBSE has announced that June 6 has been set as the final deadline for applying for the verification and re-evaluation processes. Consequently, students who have doubts regarding their obtained marks—or who wish to have the evaluation of their answer sheets re-examined—still have an opportunity to apply. The Board has advised students to carefully read all guidelines before applying and to thoroughly verify the information entered into the application form.

**CBSE Team Becomes Active on Social Media**

In recent days, several students took to the social media platform 'X' to share complaints regarding technical glitches associated with the portal. These issues included problems such as failed logins, expired login requests, and verification errors. Following these complaints, the CBSE's technical and support team has become active on social media. The Board is now directly responding to students' queries and providing solutions to their problems.

**What Should Students Do in Case of Technical Issues?**

The CBSE has stated that if a student encounters any difficulties during the application process, they may send a brief description of their issue to the Board via Direct Message (DM). Students are required to share details such as their Roll Number, Application ID, Admit Card ID, and the specific error message displayed on their screen. Subsequently, the relevant department will initiate the process to resolve the issue.

**Exercise Caution When Entering Login Details**

The Board has specifically advised students to exercise caution. According to the CBSE, technical glitches often arise due to the entry of incorrect login details; therefore, students must ensure they enter their login credentials, passwords, Admit Card IDs, and other essential information with absolute accuracy. The CBSE affirms that its teams are continuously monitoring the portal to ensure the provision of a secure, reliable, and student-friendly platform. In light of this, students who wish to apply for verification or re-evaluation should complete the process before June 6.
