CBSE: Keeping in mind the good health and development of students, CBSE has decided to organize an orientation program workshop on July 26 to discuss parenting. The program is titled "Parenting for Health and Development of Students". It will be held in Patna, with principals, vice-principals, counselors, and health educators from CBSE-affiliated schools in the Patna region to attend.
The workshop will focus on various areas such as child safety, mental health, communication between parents and children, psychological development, and balance between discipline and empathy. It aims to help schools and parents work together to support students.

The session will be held from 10 am to 2 pm at DAV Public School, BSEB Patna, BSEB Colony, New Punaichak, Patna, Bihar - 800023. Participants must reach the venue by 9:30 am. There is no registration fee to participate in the programme, the official notice said.
"Interested Principals/Vice-Principals/Counsellors/Health Educators may register through the link provided in the official notice. Participation will be limited and will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Confirmation emails will be sent to selected participants," the official notice said.
This orientation programme is part of CBSE's ongoing effort to strengthen school-parent collaboration, in line with the objectives set out in the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. The board recently introduced the Parenting Calendar 2025-26, a structured framework to engage parents in their children's academic learning, emotional health and life skills development.
