CBSE: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class 10 and 12 examinations are scheduled to begin on February 17. To provide relief to students stressed by exam pressure, the CBSE's tele-counseling service is ready. The CBSE launched its psychosocial counseling service on Tuesday (January 6). Students can avail of this service until June 1st through the toll-free number 1800-11-8004 from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday.
The CBSE launched the first phase of its tele-counseling helpline service on Tuesday with a team of counselors and psychologists. Students can consult with experts 24/7 until June 1st through the toll-free number 1800-11-8004 (Interactive Voice Response System). This number provides free counseling services to students from all parts of the country. Through this service, students can not only receive guidance on stress-free preparation but also get information on stress management and frequently asked questions (FAQs).
Pre-Board Exam Stress Management and Counseling for Students
A team of 73 principals, trained counselors, and psychologists from around the world will be available at this number. Of these, 61 counselors are in India, and 12 counselors and principals are in Nepal, Japan, Qatar, Oman, and the UAE, available on the helpline. According to the CBSE, this counseling aims to reduce exam-related stress among students so that they can appear for their theory examinations, starting on February 17, with confidence, composure, and mental clarity.
The CBSE has also made available a collection of resources on stress management and effective study strategies on its website. These resources are designed to be engaging, concise, and easily accessible for students. The CBSE advises students and parents to utilize these support services to ensure that students do not face any difficulties during the examinations.
