CBSE Class 10 Two Board Exams 2026: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has initiated preparations for Class 10 students under the 'Two Board Exams' scheme. Under this new framework, students appearing for the main board examinations in 2026 will be provided an opportunity to improve their scores in a maximum of three subjects during a second board examination scheduled for May 2026. **Eligibility for Private Candidates**
According to CBSE regulations, only students belonging to specific categories will be eligible to appear for the second board examination in 2026:
Students who were placed in the 'Compartment' category during the 2024-25 academic session.
Students who were placed in the 'Compartment' category during the 2024-25 session but did not appear for the main board examinations in 2026.
All such students will be categorized under the 'Third Chance Compartment Category.'
**How to Fill Out the LOC Form?**
CBSE has clarified that applications for the second board examination must be submitted exclusively through the online mode. To apply, candidates are required to visit the official website and fill out the designated form. Applicants must strictly adhere to the following important points:
Submission of offline forms is strictly prohibited.
Fees will not be accepted via Demand Draft (DD), cheque, money order, or postal order.
Applications submitted without the requisite fee will be automatically rejected. Therefore, merely filling out the form is insufficient; the payment of the fee is mandatory.
