Students from schools affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will soon have the opportunity to gain a closer understanding of the evolving landscape of science, technology, and education. The Board has established an 'Experience Center' at its office in Dwarka, where students can explore new concepts through engaging, activity-based learning. The center aims to connect students—beyond their regular academic curriculum—with the world of science, technology, and innovative ideas. Here, students can learn about the evolution of education, tracing its journey from traditional methods to today’s digital classrooms.

At the Experience Center, students will gain insights into the development of education in India, emerging technologies, scientific advancements, and new inventions. They will also explore how technology and education might evolve in the future and discover emerging career opportunities. The center covers the entire spectrum—from the ancient history of education to modern digital classrooms and future-oriented technologies—helping students bridge the gap between their academic subjects and the real world.

When will the visits begin?
According to the CBSE, in the initial phase—from November 3 to November 30—the center will be open exclusively to students from CBSE-affiliated schools. Online booking for schools will commence on November 1, 2026. Schools may select a date and time that best suits their schedule. The Board has encouraged schools to facilitate these visits, as they offer students a fresh perspective on classroom learning and help foster a deeper interest in science and technology.

How can schools make an online booking?
Schools can book their visits by visiting the official CBSE website, www.cbse.gov.in. On the website, they should navigate to the 'CBSE Experience Center' option located within the 'School' section of the 'Pariksha Sangam' portal. Schools can log in using their CBSE affiliation number and OCS password. Once logged in, they can select an available date and time slot to confirm their visit. When making a booking, schools should take note of the available slots and the number of students attending. A maximum of 60 people, including teachers, will be permitted in each slot.

How many people can attend in a single slot?
The CBSE has made arrangements to allow a maximum of 60 people—including teachers—per slot. Therefore, schools must keep the total number of students and accompanying teachers in mind when planning their visits. In the initial phase, this facility is available exclusively to students from CBSE-affiliated schools. The Board has encouraged schools to motivate their students to take advantage of this opportunity. These visits can help students gain new insights into science, technology, education, and potential future careers.
