CBSE Counseling 2026: IVRS & Tele-Counseling Services for Board Students

The CBSE has launched a free Psycho-Social Counseling service for students appearing in Class 10 and 12 board exams 2026. The initiative aims to help students manage exam stress and boost confidence while preparing for their theory exams starting from 17 February 2026. The service will continue until 1 June 2026.

Here’s how students and parents can benefit:

1. 24×7 Toll-Free IVRS Service

  • Number: 1800-11-8004

  • Available in Hindi and English

  • Provides tips for stress-free studying, time management, stress management, FAQs, and important CBSE contact info.

  • The IVRS service ensures immediate help anytime a student needs it.

2. Tele-Counseling Service

  • Available Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM

  • 73 trained professionals available for calls, including:

    • Principals

    • School counselors

    • Special educators

    • Qualified psychologists

  • 61 counselors based in India, 12 counselors in Nepal, Japan, Qatar, Oman, and UAE

  • Offers detailed and personalized mental support for students and parents.

3. Digital Resources

  • Available on CBSE website: www.cbse.gov.in

  • Covers:

    • Stress management techniques

    • Effective study methods

    • Emotional well-being tips

  • Helps students prepare both academically and mentally.

4. Duration & Eligibility

  • Available until: 1 June 2026

  • Who can use it: All Class 10 and 12 students and their parents
