CBSE Class 12 Supplementary Schedule Released; Scanned Answer Copies Available from August 31

CBSE has released the schedule for post-result procedures following the Class 12 supplementary examination. Students can apply for scanned copies of their answer books between August 31 and September 1, 2026.

CBSE has announced the schedule for post-result processes regarding the Class 12 supplementary examination (2026). Students who have objections regarding their marks can now request scanned copies of their evaluated answer books. Applications for marks verification or re-evaluation can only be submitted after this step. The Board has set specific dates and fees for each of these procedures. It is worth noting that the CBSE Class 12 supplementary results were declared on August 12, 2026, and the Board has now initiated the application process for post-result services.

Scanned Answer Copies Available on August 31

According to the CBSE schedule, students can apply for scanned copies of their evaluated answer books from August 31 to September 1, 2026. A fee of ₹100 per subject is applicable. Once the application is processed, the scanned answer book will be made available in the student’s login account. The Board has clarified that students can apply for marks verification or re-evaluation only after obtaining the scanned copy of their answer book; there is no option to apply directly for re-evaluation.

Verification and Re-evaluation on September 7 and 8

After receiving the scanned copy, students will have the opportunity to review their answer books and check the marks awarded. If a student believes there is an error in the evaluation, they may subsequently apply for marks verification or re-evaluation. The application window for this purpose will open on September 7 and 8, 2026. A fee of ₹100 per answer book has been fixed for the verification of marks, while the fee for re-evaluation is ₹100 per question. Students may apply for both facilities, subject to the payment of the respective fees.

Re-evaluation limited to the theory component

CBSE has stated that the re-evaluation facility will be available only for the theory component. For any given question, the entire question will be re-evaluated rather than just a specific part of it. Students are advised to review the marking scheme and the question paper for the relevant subject before applying. When applying for re-evaluation, students must also clearly state the reason for their request.

Marks may increase or decrease

The Board has clarified to students that marks may change following verification or re-evaluation; they could either increase or decrease. Even a reduction of a single mark will be implemented. The re-evaluation results will be uploaded to the official CBSE website. The Board’s decision will be final, and there is no provision for appeal or further review against the re-evaluation results.

Applications must be submitted online

Students must apply for these post-result facilities via the online link provided on the CBSE website. The prescribed fee must also be paid online at the time of application. The Board has advised students to read all instructions carefully before applying. According to CBSE, the Board will not be held responsible for incorrect information provided by students; therefore, it is essential to verify all details before submitting the application.
