Here is important news for students who appeared for the CBSE Class 12 Supplementary Examination 2026. Students who had applied to obtain a scanned copy of their answer sheet can now apply for the verification of marks and the re-evaluation of their answer sheets.
The board has opened the application window for this process. Students who wish to raise objections regarding marks awarded for specific questions in the scanned copy, or who want their entire answer sheet re-examined, can apply via the official CBSE website by today, September 8, 2026.
**Application possible only after obtaining the scanned copy**
According to CBSE guidelines, only those students who obtained the scanned copy of their answer sheet within the stipulated timeframe are eligible to apply for marks verification or re-evaluation. The deadline to apply for the scanned copy was September 1, 2026, which has already passed.
**What is the application deadline?**
Students who have received their scanned copies can apply for marks verification and question re-evaluation until 11:59 PM on September 8, 2026. The prescribed fee is ₹100 per answer sheet for marks verification and ₹100 per question for re-evaluation.

**How to apply?**
First, visit the official CBSE website at cbse.gov.in or cbseresults.nic.in. Next, enter your roll number, school number, and admit card ID.
After entering the details, go to the student login section.
Now, click on the ‘Apply for Verification of Marks/Re-evaluation’ link.
Then, select the subject for which you wish to get the marks verified or re-evaluated.
Finally, pay the prescribed fee using net banking, a debit card, a credit card, or UPI.
