CBSE Class 12 Students Still Facing Difficulties Over Scanned Copies; Yet to Receive Them..
The difficulties faced by students attempting to obtain scanned copies of their Class 12 answer sheets from the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) show no signs of abating. While the CBSE continues to maintain that "all is well," it has once again extended the deadline for applying for these scanned copies. However, despite completing all formalities—including payment—many students are still lodging complaints regarding their inability to access the scanned copies. Consequently, both students and parents are distressed.
Let us delve into the details of this entire situation. We will examine how many times the CBSE has extended the deadline for Class 12 scanned copy applications so far, and explore the specific grievances that students are currently raising.
**Process Began on May 19; Deadline Extended Three Times So Far**
The CBSE initiated the process for obtaining scanned copies of Class 12 answer sheets on May 19, allowing students to submit their applications. However, on the very first day—May 19—the online portal remained non-functional throughout the day. On the second day, May 20, the portal finally became operational, starting at 2:00 PM. Meanwhile, the CBSE revised the application deadline, shifting it from May 22 to May 23. Despite this adjustment, students continued to report issues regarding failed payment transactions; such complaints were raised by students on May 21.
On the evening of May 22, the portal crashed once again. In response, on May 23, the CBSE pushed the application deadline forward to May 24. Even after this extension, numerous students continued to report difficulties related to their applications. On May 24, the CBSE extended the application deadline yet again, setting it for May 25. Thus, the CBSE has now extended the application deadline a total of three times.
**Application Completed on May 20, Yet Copies Still Not Received**
Despite having completed their applications for the CBSE Class 12 scanned copies, many students have still not received the documents. Students and other users are taking to the social media platform 'X' to post about this issue. One user posted that they had completed the entire application process on May 20, yet they have still not received their scanned copy. Meanwhile, another user posted that they had applied for scanned copies of five subjects, but have so far received the scanned copies for only four subjects.
**No Response from the Help Desk Either**
Taking the CBSE to task over this matter, one user remarked, "This is an utterly shameful attitude from such a renowned national institution. I submitted my details and paid the fees back on May 21, 2026, yet I have received no updates whatsoever to date. I even emailed them and called the help desk, but received no response."
