CBSE 12th Result 2026 Institute-Wise: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the results for the Class 12 Board Examinations 2026. In terms of institute-wise performance this year, Kendriya Vidyalayas (KV) have achieved the first position with a stellar performance, while Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNV) secured the second position by a very narrow margin. Meanwhile, varying levels of performance were also observed in the results of Government, Government-Aided, EMRS, and Independent (Private) schools.

CBSE 12th Result 2026: Institute-Wise Pass Percentage
Speaking of institute-wise performance, Kendriya Vidyalayas (KV) have once again delivered an impressive performance, securing the first position with a pass percentage of 98.55%. Following closely behind, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNV) stood in second place with 98.47%. Meanwhile, the pass percentage for Government schools was recorded at 89.55%, while that for Government-Aided institutions stood at 86.07%. EMRS schools recorded a pass percentage of 85.55%, and Independent (Private) schools recorded 84.22%.

This Year, a Total of 85.20% of Students Passed Class 12
With the release of the CBSE Class 12 Examination 2026 results, a decline has been recorded in the overall pass percentage this year. In 2026, a total of 1,780,365 students registered for the examination, out of whom 1,768,968 students actually appeared for the exam. Of these, 1,507,109 students were successful, and the overall pass percentage was recorded at 85.20%. Meanwhile, in the year 2025, 1,704,367 students registered, of whom 1,692,794 appeared for the examination and 1,496,307 were successful. At that time, the pass percentage stood at 88.39%. Consequently, this time around, a decline of 3.19% has been observed in the overall pass percentage compared to the previous year.
