CBSE: Class 12 board exams to be held again in 7 West Asian countries; students will get a chance to improve their marks..

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) had previously cancelled the Class 12 board examinations in seven West Asian countries due to the ongoing conflict. Following the cancellation, CBSE released a special assessment scheme on July 27, 2026. Based on this scheme, the Class 12 board results for these West Asian countries were declared on May 13, 2026.

After the declaration of results, CBSE has decided to conduct the examinations again in these seven countries. Students who are dissatisfied with their marks and wish to improve them will have the opportunity to appear for these exams. It should be noted that the result declared by the board after this examination will be considered final.

**Board exams to be held again in these 7 countries**
CBSE has decided to re-conduct the Class 12 board examinations in seven West Asian countries: Iran, Bahrain, Oman, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE. Students will be able to improve their marks by appearing for these exams.

**Exams to be conducted for 40 subjects**
CBSE will conduct Class 12 board examinations for 40 subjects across these seven West Asian countries. This will include 20 academic subjects and 20 skill-based subjects.

**Date sheet to be released soon**
Students must register online to appear for the CBSE Class 12 board examinations. The date sheet for the exams will be released by CBSE only after the registration process is completed. Notably, students will not be charged an additional examination fee to appear for these exams.
