CBSE Class 12 Answer Sheet Re-checking Portal Fully Restored; 3.8 Lakh Applications Received in Just 3 Hours

CBSE Class 12 Re-evaluation Portal: The technical glitches affecting the CBSE Class 12 re-evaluation portal have now been completely resolved. Following the announcement of results, students were facing significant difficulties in logging in and viewing the CAPTCHA codes. Consequently, CBSE deployed its technical team to address the issue. The portal was relaunched on May 20, 2026. Within just a few hours of the portal going live, more than 1.27 lakh students had successfully filled out the application forms.

CBSE Class 12 Re-evaluation Portal: Students were experiencing considerable difficulties during the process of obtaining scanned copies of their Class 12 answer sheets and applying for re-verification through the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Complaints regarding technical glitches related to logins, payments, and the website itself were pouring in continuously, causing significant distress among students. The Board has now clarified that its online portal is fully functional, and students are able to submit their applications with ease.

Providing an update on Wednesday, CBSE stated that by 7:30 PM on Tuesday evening, a total of 1,27,146 students had successfully applied for scanned copies of 3,87,399 answer sheets. The Board received this volume of applications within just three hours of the portal becoming operational.

The CBSE Board stated, "The online portal for obtaining scanned copies of Class 12 answer sheets is now functioning without any issues. Students are able to submit their applications effortlessly." The Board further informed students that they can still submit their applications via the portal. The direct link to apply is "pvr.cbseit.in/pvr/".

In the days immediately following the portal's launch, students encountered major difficulties in logging in, making payments, and filling out the application forms. Many students took to social media to voice their complaints regarding these issues. In light of these difficulties, CBSE took immediate action and extended the deadline for submitting applications by one day. Students can now apply until May 23. Previously, the deadline was set for May 22. An official notice issued by the Board states that the deadline has been extended to provide students with adequate time, taking into account technical glitches encountered on the website.

CBSE Class 12 Re-evaluation Portal: When Will Scanned Copies Be Available?

Scanned copies of answer sheets will be made available online to students who have applied between May 26 and May 29. This year, keeping the convenience of students in mind, the CBSE has also significantly reduced the fees. Now, obtaining a scanned copy of an answer sheet will cost only ₹100; previously, this amount was ₹700. The fee for the verification of answer sheets has also been reduced to ₹100—down from the previous ₹500—and for the re-evaluation of answer sheets, students will now have to pay just ₹25 per question.

The CBSE states that it is continuously working to promptly resolve students' issues and to make the entire process transparent and hassle-free.
