The wait for lakhs of students who appeared in the Class 10 Second Board Exam 2026, conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), is likely to end soon. The CBSE board may release the exam results shortly. This exam was taken by students wishing to improve their marks or those retaking the exam under the 'compartment' category.

CBSE result likely in the fourth week of June

Although CBSE has not yet announced an official date for the result, media reports suggest that the Class 10 Second Board Exam results could be released in the fourth week of June 2026. The exam was conducted between May 15 and May 21, 2026. Once the results are declared, students will be able to view their scorecards online.

Lakhs of students appeared for the CBSE exam.

The Central Board of Secondary Education introduced the Second Board Exam system this year to provide students with an additional opportunity. This allows students to improve their marks and gives those in the compartment category a chance to continue their studies without losing a year. Approximately 6.8 lakh students participated in this exam.

Where to check your CBSE Board result

Once the CBSE results are released, students will be able to check them via the official CBSE website, DigiLocker, the UMANG app, SMS services, and IVRS. The online mark sheet will be provisional, while the original documents will be issued later through the schools.
