The CBSE conducted the second board exam in a single shift between May 15 and May 21, from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM. This exam was intended for students wishing to improve their marks or those who had been placed in the 'compartment' category in the main exam. To pass, students must secure a minimum of 33% marks. If a student fails the second board exam as well, they will be required to appear for the Class 10 exam again next year.
