CBSE Board Exam 2025: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will conduct three board examinations next year, i.e., in 2026. These include two board exams of class 10th and one board exam of class 12th. The first board exam of class 10th will be held in February-March, and the second in May. The board has started its preparation. In this regard, CBSE has issued instructions to the principals regarding the list of students appearing for the board examination, i.e., List of Candidates (LOC).

The board has urged the schools to ensure correct and updated details of the students. This includes the student's full name, date of birth, gender, category, parents' names, subject-wise registration, photo, signature, and APAAR ID. Along with this, CBSE has also shared information about the new system. Under which CBSE has announced to implement a new system to correct the mistakes in the mark sheets and certificates of class 10th and 12th.

A data verification slip will be issued after the LOC.

According to the circular issued by CBSE, after the list of board examinees is released by the schools, the data verification slip of the students will be issued. Corrections will be made based on this slip. This slip will be issued by the school. This form will contain the name of the candidate, parent/guardian, date of birth, and board exam subject information. If there is any mistake in the slip, then correction can be done on this basis.

Opportunity to correct before the exam

CBSE has also clarified that if there is any kind of mistake in the data verification slip, then correction can be made on this basis. The opportunity to correct will be available before the board exam. It has been said in the circular that if there is any mistake in the data verification slip, then CBSE will allow correction in the application form from 13 to 27 October. Also, CBSE has clarified that after this process and its period is over, no correction will be done by the board.
