CBSE: CBSE 10th-12th compartment exams are starting from July 15, apply by June 17..

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) released the results of classes 10th and 12th on 13 May. After this, CBSE has now started preparations for the 10th and 12th compartment examinations. Under which the application process for compartment examinations has started. The last date for application is 17 June, while the examinations will start from 15 July.
Apply till 19 June with a late fee.
The application process for CBSE 10th and 12th compartment examinations has started from 30 May. Application can be made till 17 June by visiting the official website of CBSE. After this, if any student wants to apply, then he can apply on 18 and 19 June with a late fee. Students will have to pay Rs 2000 extra as a late fee.
Exams for 12th class students on 15th July
According to the schedule released by CBSE for compartment exams, compartment exams for 10th and 12th class students will start from 15th July. Compartment exams will be conducted for 10th-grade students for several days. The exam schedule can be seen by visiting the CBSE website. On the other hand, compartment exams for the 12th class, students will be completed on a single day i.e. 15th July.
A fee of Rs 300 per subject
For the CBSE compartment exam, students studying in Indian schools will have to pay a fee of Rs 300 per subject. On the other hand, students studying in affiliated schools abroad will have to pay Rs 1000 per subject for the compartment exam. Students who have failed in board exams or have scored low marks can appear in compartment exams. While applying for compartment exams, students will need their board exam roll number.
How was the CBSE result this time?
More than 40 lakh students appeared in the CBSE 10th and 12th board exams in 2025. In which a total of 23,71,939 students appeared in the 10th exam. Out of these, 22,21,636 passed and about 1,50,303 students failed.
Similarly, 16,92,794 students appeared in the 12th board exam, out of which 88.39 percent passed. That is, more than 11 percent of the students failed in 12th. This compartment exam is being conducted for all these students.
