CBSE Career Guidance and Counseling Model: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Thursday launched two major initiatives for the academic session 2025-26. According to CBSE officials, these initiatives aim to strengthen the system of career guidance in schools and promote the overall mental and social well-being of students.

These initiatives are as follows: - Career Guidance Dashboard, Counseling Hub, and Spoke School Model.

Development will be done based on the suggestions received in the future: CBSE Chairman.

Launching these initiatives, CBSE Chairman Rahul Singh said, "Both the initiatives have been designed to benefit schools and students and will be further developed in the future based on the suggestions from stakeholders."

In the orientation-cum-interaction session organized on this occasion, expert teams gave detailed information about the Career Guidance Dashboard. They explained in detail its user interface, key features, and facilities available for students, teachers, and school heads.

Apart from this, a focused session was organized on CBSE Counseling Hub and Spoke Model, in which information was shared about the structure of this model, responsibilities to be performed at the school level, and the monitoring system.

These initiatives will help in improving the quality of career guidance in schools across the country and providing timely and correct direction to the students. This step of CBSE is considered important in the direction of bringing balance in both the areas of mental health and career development of students.
