CBSE Marksheet: CBSE has taken strict steps to ensure that there is no mistake in the marksheet and pass certificate of the students after the class 10 and 12 examinations. The board has given clear instructions to the schools that the personal details of the students (such as name, date of birth etc.) should be recorded and verified correctly at every level.

CBSE has clearly stated that the personal information of the students should be correct in school records such as the admission card, student register, and entry-exit register. Apart from this, whenever the transfer certificate is given to the student, the complete information should also be recorded correctly in it. This information will be certified by both the parents and the school from the registration of class 9 itself.

Correction facility
The board has also provided the facility of correction after registration and before submitting the LOC (List of Candidates). During this, the schools will have to download the registration card and give it to the students so that they can check their information. Along with this, the data will also be confirmed from the parents. Even after the LOC, CBSE provides a correction window so that if there is a mistake, it can be corrected.

Frequent mistakes in correction requests
CBSE has observed that schools often send incomplete or incorrect correction requests. They do not attach the required documents, send incomplete or altered documents, and sometimes do not respond to the board's requests for information. Due to these reasons, the correction process gets delayed.

Double checking before and after the exam
Admit cards will be issued to students before the exam, in which the correct personal details will be confirmed by the student, parent and principal.

After this, when the results are declared and certificates are given, the information will be reconfirmed from the students, parents, and school head. Despite this, many times schools send correction requests to the board even before the results are out, so that students do not face any kind of problem.
