The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will soon release the date sheet for Class 10 and Class 12 examinations. According to various reports, the date sheet is expected to be made available around October 25. Based on trends from previous years, the board examinations are likely to commence around February 15. Between 4 million and 5 million (40 to 50 lakh) students are expected to appear for these examinations.

When, where, and how to download the timetable
The CBSE will release the date sheet for Class 10 and Class 12 online this week on its official website, cbse.gov.in, in PDF format. Separate timetables will be issued for each class. Once released, you can follow the simple steps provided below to download the timetable and check the scheduled dates for each subject's examination.

Upon the release of the CBSE timetable, visit the official website at cbse.gov.in.
On the website's home page, you will find a link for the date sheet.
Click on the link corresponding to the class (Class 10 or Class 12) for which you wish to download the time table.

The date sheet will open in PDF format, from where you can download it.
You can then check the schedule to see which subject's examination will be held on a particular day.

Class 10 examinations to be held in two phases
It should be noted that the CBSE now conducts the secondary (Class 10) board examinations in two phases. The first phase of examinations will take place between February and March, while the second phase will be held in May. Please be aware that the main examination—the first phase—is mandatory for all students. If a student does not appear for this phase, they will not be eligible to participate in the second phase. Meanwhile, the Class 12 board examinations will continue to be held in a single phase.
