The ongoing war between Israel, the United States, and Iran has begun to spread its tentacles to the Middle East. Following Israeli attacks, Iran has retaliated against several Middle Eastern countries. In light of this, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued a notification postponing Class 10 and 12 examinations in these countries.

CBSE Issues Notification
The notification issued by the CBSE states, "Students and schools are informed that due to the current situation in some parts of the Middle East (Bahrain, Iran, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates), the Board has postponed the Class 10 and 12 examinations scheduled for Monday, March 2, 2026." According to the information provided by the Board, new exam dates will be announced soon.

A re-evaluation will be conducted on March 3rd.
The Board will review the examination situation again on Tuesday, March 3rd, 2026, and will make an appropriate decision regarding examinations scheduled from March 5th onward. All students are advised to stay in touch with their schools for updates and carefully follow official announcements.

After the results are released, students will only be able to have their theory papers evaluated.
Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Examination Controller Sanyam Bhardwaj has informed students that no students will be able to undergo re-evaluation for practical exams. If students wish, they will be able to undergo re-evaluation only for theory papers. Changes to marks in written exams are only possible; changes to practical marks will not be possible.

The CBSE releases Class 10th and 12th results in May. After the results are released, students will be given the opportunity to undergo re-evaluation by the Board. However, students will need to apply for re-evaluation.
