CBSE Board Exam 2026: CBSE has started registration for students with special needs (CWSN) appearing in class 10 and 12 board exams 2026. Schools can apply through the Exam Sangam portal till September 22. Through this, students will get all the necessary facilities.

CBSE Board Exam 2026: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has started the registration process for students with special needs (CWSN) appearing in class 10th and 12th board exams 2026. According to the board, this registration window will be open from September 9 to September 22, 2025.

CBSE has said in its circular that if any CWSN student wants to avail the facilities or exemptions provided by the board during the examination, then for this the concerned schools will have to apply through the prescribed CWSN web portal. This portal is linked with the "List of Candidates" (LOC).

Responsibility given to schools

The board has directed all the schools to apply on time so that necessary arrangements can be made for students with special needs at the examination centers. For this, CBSE has also issued a detailed SOP (Standard Operating Procedure), so that schools can complete the application process properly.

Documents will be uploaded on the Exam Sangam portal

Schools across the country will have to do this registration work through the "Pariksha Sangam Portal". Schools will have to login to the portal with their login ID and password and see the list of students in the CWSN module. This will include the names of those students who have already been marked as CWSN.

A list of facilities for each category of students based on their disability will also be available on the portal. If the student wants to avail these facilities, the school will have to select the relevant option. After this, this information will automatically be included in the admit card.

All necessary facilities will be available

This process will ensure that the examination center can make proper arrangements for students with special needs and no student has to face inconvenience during the examination. The board says that this step has been taken with the aim of ensuring equal opportunity in education and encouraging disabled students.
