The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to announce the results for the Class 12 Board Examinations 2026. An update regarding this has appeared on the DigiLocker portal. The status on DigiLocker currently displays "Coming Soon," signaling that preparations for the release of the CBSE results have begun. Based on past trends, the CBSE Class 12 results are likely to be released on May 12 or 13. However, the Board has not yet issued any official confirmation regarding the exact date or time of the release.

**Where can you check the results?**
Once the results are released, students will be able to view their outcomes via the official CBSE websites: cbse.gov.in, results.cbse.nic.in, and results.cbse.gov.in. Additionally—similar to previous years—digital mark sheets for the results will be made available on DigiLocker, from where students can download verified copies of their Class 12 certificates and scorecards.

**How to check results on DigiLocker?**

Next, log in using your registered mobile number or your Aadhaar-linked credentials.

After logging in, navigate to the "Education" or "CBSE" section.
Now, select "CBSE Class 12 Results 2026" or "Class XII Marksheet."
Then, enter the necessary details such as your Roll Number, School Code, and Admit Card ID.
Click "Submit" to view your result.
You can now view your result and download your digital mark sheet.

**How to check results on the UMANG App?**
Download and install the UMANG app from the Play Store or App Store.
Go to the "Services" section and tap on "CBSE."
Log in using your registered mobile number via an OTP or MPIN.
Enter your Registration Number and other required details.
Submit the details.

Your CBSE Class 12 result will appear on the screen.

What happens if you fail?
According to CBSE regulations, to pass the Class 12 examination, students must secure a minimum of 33 percent marks separately in both the theory and practical components. If a student obtains less than this score, they will be considered to have failed. However, the CBSE also provides such students with a second opportunity to pass through a compartment examination.
