CBSE 12th Result 2026: An important update has emerged for the lakhs of students awaiting the results of the Central Board of Secondary Education’s (CBSE) Class 12 Board Examinations for 2026. According to reports, the CBSE Class 12 results for this year could be released by April 30. However, the Board has not yet issued any official confirmation regarding the exact result date.

This year, an ‘on-screen marking system’ has been adopted for the evaluation of answer scripts, a measure said to be accelerating the assessment process. This is the primary reason why expectations are high that the results will be released earlier this year compared to previous years. Meanwhile, the Class 12 examinations for this academic year were conducted between February 17 and April 10, 2026. Consequently, the evaluation process is now reported to be in its final stages, leaving students eagerly awaiting their results.

Additionally, to help manage website traffic, the results will also be made available on government digital platforms.

Students can download their digital marksheets by visiting the DigiLocker app or the website digilocker.gov.in.
To do this, you must first log in using your Aadhaar number or registered mobile number.
Next, navigate to the ‘Education’ section and select the ‘CBSE’ option.
Then, click on ‘Class 12 Marksheet’.
Finally, by entering your Roll Number and other required details, you can download your marksheet.

Results Also Available via the UMANG App

The CBSE Class 12 Board results can also be accessed through the UMANG app.
To do this, log in to the app and search for ‘CBSE Services’.
Then, select the ‘Class 12 Results’ option and enter your details.
Subsequently, a provisional marksheet will appear on the screen, which can then be downloaded.
