CBSE 12th Result 2026: CBSE Class 12 Results Released; Over 17,000 Students Score Above 95%..

12th Result: Students who appeared for the CBSE Senior Secondary—that is, the Class 12 board examinations—have been eagerly awaiting the release of their results, a wait that has now finally come to an end. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the Class 12 Result 2026 online at results.cbse.nic.in. In addition to the board's official website (results.cbse.nic.in), students can also download their mark sheets via DigiLocker and the UMANG app. Apart from the website, results can also be checked via SMS.

This year, more than 17,000 students secured marks exceeding 95% in the Class 12 board examinations. Overall, a total of 85.20 percent of the students have successfully cleared the exams this year.

**Compartment Exam Dates**
According to the information shared by the CBSE, the Class 12 compartment examination is scheduled to be conducted on July 15, 2026. Applications for the compartment exam will commence on June 2.

**Applications for Compartment Exams to Begin Soon**
The application process for students who have received a compartment (supplementary) result will begin shortly. Students will be able to participate in this examination by filling out the form within the stipulated dates, thereby preventing the loss of an academic year.

**163,800 Students Receive Compartment Results**
This year, 1,780,365 students registered for the board examinations, of whom 1,507,109 students have passed. A total of 163,800 students have received a compartment result.

**Region-wise Pass Percentage**
The CBSE has shared data regarding the pass percentages across various regions nationwide. The Trivandrum region has recorded a pass percentage of 95.62. The top 10 regions are as follows:

Vijayawada: 92.77
Delhi West: 92.34

**94,000 Students Score Over 90%**
A total of 94,028 students secured more than 90 percent marks in the CBSE Board examinations. Furthermore, 17,113 students achieved scores exceeding 95 percent.

**Kendriya Vidyalayas Record the Best Results**
This year, the Kendriya Vidyalayas have achieved the best results. The school-wise pass percentages are as follows:

Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV) – 98.55%
Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) – 98.47%
Government Schools (GOVT) – 89.55%
Government-Aided Schools (GOVT AIDED) – 86.07%
Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS) – 85.55%
Independent Schools (INDEPENDENT) – 84.22%

**17,000 Students Score Over 95%**
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced the results for the Class 12 main examinations on Wednesday. This year, a total of 85.20 percent of students were successful, which is lower compared to last year (88.39 percent). In Class 12, a total of 1,507,109 students passed. Compared to the previous year, this figure has decreased by 3.19 percent. Last year, 1,496,307 students passed. This year, 88.86 percent of female students and 82.13 percent of male students have passed. Thus, female students have emerged victorious with a margin of 6.73 percent.
Officials stated that this year, over 1.7 million students registered for the examination, of whom more than 1.5 million were successful. For the first time, the On-Screen Marking (OSM) system was mandatorily adopted for the evaluation process.
