CBSE 12th Result 2026: After a long wait, the results for the CBSE Class 12 Board examinations were released on May 13. This year, the results were not as favorable as those of the previous year. Approximately 162,000 students have received a 'Compartment' this year. For the convenience of such students, CBSE has announced the dates for the supplementary examinations. CBSE has stated that this year, the supplementary exams will be conducted on July 15, 2026.

This year, a total of 85.20% of students passed the CBSE Class 12 examinations. This represents a decrease of 3.19% compared to the previous year. In terms of numbers, a total of 1,507,109 students passed, whereas 1,496,307 students had passed the previous year. In the intermediate examinations, 88.86% of female students and 82.13% of male students passed. Girls have maintained their dominance, achieving a pass percentage that is 6.73% higher than that of boys.

**Who is Eligible for the Compartment Examination?**

Students who have failed in one or two subjects in the CBSE Class 12 examinations are eligible to appear for the compartment examination. This ensures that they do not lose an academic year and allows them to improve their scores. The Board has already announced the dates for the compartment examination. The application process for the exam is also set to begin shortly.

**Options for Re-evaluation and Answer Sheet Verification**

Students who are not satisfied with their marks may apply for verification and re-evaluation. Additionally, students will be able to request photocopies of their answer sheets to review their responses. The Board will release the specific dates for these processes shortly.
