CBSE 10th Result 2026: CBSE Class 10 Results Released 11 Days Earlier Than Last Year; Exams Held in 27 Countries..
CBSE 10th Result 2026: This year, the CBSE has released the Class 10 results in a record 23 days, whereas last year, it took 34 days to publish the results. The Board conducted the examinations not only across India but also in 27 other countries, ranging from Japan to Ghana. This year, the Class 10 examinations were held from February 17 to March 10, whereas last year, they were conducted from February 15 to March 18. This also makes it evident that the Board organized the examinations earlier this year.
The reason behind the CBSE releasing the Class 10 results so quickly is the second set of Board examinations scheduled to be held in May. In accordance with the recommendations of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, the Board has decided—starting this year—to conduct examinations twice a year. The first set of examinations took place in February-March, and the second set is scheduled to be held in May.
