Could the CBSE Class 10 Results Be Released by April 15?
Several reports suggest that CBSE may declare the results for the High School Board Examinations 2026 on April 15. Several key reasons are being cited for CBSE's decision to declare the results early this time. The evaluation process has been expedited this year, resulting in the faster completion of answer sheet checking. The Board also needs to conduct other examinations subsequently; therefore, time is being utilized efficiently. Furthermore, under the new examination system, students are being provided with an additional opportunity to improve their performance. A second opportunity will also be made available soon for students with compartment status. Given all these factors, it is widely believed that the Class 10 results could be released by mid-April. CBSE Class 10: Passing Marks and Grace Marks
To pass the CBSE Class 10 examination, it is mandatory to secure a minimum of 33 percent marks in each subject. If a student fails in one or two subjects, they are given the opportunity to appear for a compartment examination. However, if a student fails in more than two subjects, they are required to retake the examination in the subsequent academic year. Occasionally, the Board may also award grace marks—ranging from 1 to 3 points—to help a student pass the examination.
