CAT Exam Tomorrow: Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode will conduct the Common Admission Test tomorrow. Let's find out when the exam will be held and what the important details are.

Preparations for the Common Admission Test (CAT 2025) to be held on November 30th by the Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode are in full swing. Lakhs of candidates from across the country are going to appear for this exam, and it is important for everyone to know the exam rules, dress code, and required documents in advance to avoid any problems on exam day.

CAT is one of the biggest management exams in the country, so it is mandatory to follow several rules from arriving at the exam center until the exam is over. According to the guidelines issued by the institute, every candidate must arrive at the center at least one hour before the exam begins.

Photo ID Required

The most important thing on exam day is the admit card and a valid photo ID. Any ID, such as an Aadhaar card, PAN card, or driving license, must be carried. Ensure that the information on the admit card and ID card matches. To facilitate security checks, candidates are advised to wear simple, comfortable clothing that does not contain any metal.

Strictly Prohibited

Mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators, cameras, Bluetooth devices, or any other electronic devices are strictly prohibited at the center. Candidates found with such items may be immediately disqualified. Any attempt to cheat will be viewed seriously by the examiner and may result in a ban on the candidate from future CAT exams. It is also important to avoid tampering with computer settings or using the keyboard unnecessarily during the exam, as this may cause the system to lock up and cause harm to the candidate. It is mandatory to return all rough sheets or rough paper to the invigilator after the exam is over. Not providing rough paper is considered a violation of the exam rules.

Dress Codes Also Determined

Separate dress codes have been established for male and female candidates for CAT 2025. Male candidates will not be allowed to wear shoes with thick soles. They are also prohibited from wearing clothes with large buttons or pockets. They may wear simple shirts, T-shirts, or pants, but ensure they do not have pockets. Female candidates are not allowed to wear jewelry. Earrings, chains, nose pins, anklets, bracelets, or any other metal objects are prohibited. Excessive makeup and hair decorations are advised. Entry may be denied if henna, tattoos, or any other distinctive mark is visible on the body, so it is best to avoid such items before the exam.

How many slots will the exam be held in?

The CAT exam will be held in three slots: the first slot will be from 8:30 am to 10:30 am, the second slot from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm, and the third slot from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm. Candidates must download their admit card from the official IIM website, iimcat.ac.in, and bring it to the center along with an identity card. The exam will be conducted in computer-based mode at 375 test centers and 170 cities across the country.
