This exam is for admission to the BA (Economics) and Business Economics programs. It includes Language, Domain Subjects, and a General Aptitude Test. Applications open in February and continue until April. The exam is held in May-June. The fee is ₹650, and the marking scheme follows a +5/-1 rule.
NMIMS-NPAT (National Test For Programs After 12th)
This exam is for admission to the 3-year B.Sc. Economics course after 12th grade, available at the Mumbai and Bengaluru campuses. The exam is conducted online and has a duration of 100 minutes. It includes Quantitative Ability, Reasoning, General Intelligence, and English. Applications open in the first week of December and continue until the fourth week of May. The exam fee starts from ₹2000.
AMU-ET (Aligarh Muslim University Entrance Test)
The AMU-ET exam, which has now been replaced by CUET-UG, was for admission to the 11-year integrated program at Aligarh Muslim University. The exam was conducted offline and had a duration of 120 minutes. It included English, Indo-Islamic Culture, General Awareness, Reasoning, and Current Affairs. Forms were released in June, and the exam fee was ₹450.
Replaced by CUET-UG BHU-UET 101 (Undergraduate Entrance Test)
Admission to the BA (Hons) Economics at Banaras Hindu University (BHU) will now be through CUET-UG (Undergraduate Entrance Test), replacing BHU-UET 101. The exam will be conducted in online or offline mode. The question paper will include questions related to general knowledge, current affairs, reasoning, mathematical ability, and language comprehension. Applications will open from the second week of August and continue until the first week of September. The examination fee is Rs. 600, and the eligibility criteria are 10+2 (with Mathematics).
Replaced by CUET-UG JMI-ET (Entrance Test)
Admission to the 3-year BA Economics program at Jamia Millia Islamia, Delhi, will now be through CUET-UG, which has replaced JMI-ET. The exam will be conducted online and will be 90 minutes long. It will include questions on language skills, general awareness, reasoning, and numerical ability. Applications will open in the third week of May. The exam will be held in the second or third week of August. The application fee is Rs. 550.
MITWPU-CET (MITWPU Common Entrance Test)
This exam is for admission to the BA Government Administration and B.Sc. Economics/Business Economics programs. The exam will be conducted in online mode and will be 120 minutes long. Admit cards will be issued in April. The exam includes sections on GK, logical reasoning, mathematics, English, computers, and an interview. The application fee is Rs. 1000.
