The Indian Institute of Remote Sensing (IIRS), Dehradun—part of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO)—is organizing an online training program titled 'AI/ML for Hydro-informatics'. This program focuses on the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) within the water resources sector.

Through this training program, participants will gain insights into the utility of these technologies in hydro-informatics and receive training via a digital platform. The program is particularly beneficial for those wishing to understand the role of AI and ML in water resource applications.

**Online Training Delivery**
The training program will be conducted online through live, interactive sessions. Participants can join the live sessions via the IIRS YouTube channel. The daily schedule will be made available on the ISRO Learning Management System (LMS). Upon registration, participants will receive a username and password to log in to the ISRO LMS. The LMS will provide access to course guidelines and announcements, recorded video sessions, attendance tracking, quizzes, feedback mechanisms, and certification details.

**Mandatory Quiz Participation**
Participants must take part in the daily quizzes available on the ISRO LMS during the training. The LMS will track each participant's course activities under the metric of 'Course Dedication'. This includes parameters such as time spent watching video logs, participation in daily quizzes, and submission of course feedback. This system records the participants' engagement and active involvement in the learning process; therefore, participants must complete their activities on the LMS regularly throughout the training period.

**Certification**
Participants who complete the prescribed minimum training duration will be awarded a 'Course Participation' certificate. The certificate can be downloaded directly from ISRO's e-Class LMS. Participants must ensure they regularly complete their activities on the LMS during the training to ensure their course participation is duly recorded. Activities such as quizzes and feedback sessions will also be part of this process.

This training program will be conducted through live and interactive sessions.
Recorded videos will also be available alongside the live sessions.
Participants will be awarded a 'Course Participation' certificate.

How to Apply
Candidates can apply by visiting ISRO's official website, isrolms.irs.gov.in/edusatregistration, until October 4, 2026. The training will run from October 5 to October 10. Participants registering individually will not require separate approval; their registration will be considered automatically approved. Additionally, LMS login details will be provided to them after registration.
